TAC - Driving positive road behaviour change through sports partnerships

The Transport Accident Commission (TAC) has a strong history of partnering with sporting codes, community clubs and events to promote road safety and influence behaviour, particularly among young drivers, participants and regional communities.

SMC Strategies partnered with the TAC to review current sports partnerships and provide advice on how sports organisations, from grassroots to elite, can most effectively partner with TAC to achieve meaningful behavioural change and more effectively connect with high-risk and influential community audiences.

All with a view of using sport as a social driver to improve road safety outcomes across the community and reduce Victoria’s road toll
